The North Burleigh Heads Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC), a cornerstone of the Gold Coast community and a vital hub for local beachgoers, recently underwent a significant bathroom upgrade. This renovation aimed to enhance the facility's functionality and aesthetic appeal. Stonebaths was proud to contribute to this project by designing and supplying specialized ramp basins.
Working closely with Hutchies, a leader in commercial construction, we ensured a seamless design and installation process. Our collaboration focused on delivering bathroom fixtures that not only look great but also meet the practical needs of the club's diverse visitors.
One of the highlights of this project was the design and manufacture of our largest ever basin, measuring an impressive 3600mm. This bespoke basin was created to meet the unique demands of the Burleigh Heads SLSC, ensuring ample space and functionality for the high-traffic environment. The sheer size of the basin required meticulous planning and engineering to ensure its durability and aesthetic appeal.
The ramp basins, including the record-breaking 3600mm piece, are made from high-quality solid surface materials, known for their durability and sleek appearance. Solid surface ramp basins offer numerous benefits in commercial settings. They are non-porous, making them resistant to stains and easy to clean—an essential feature for high-traffic areas like the Burleigh Heads SLSC. This material is also highly durable, capable of withstanding the wear and tear of daily use while maintaining its pristine look.
The logistical challenge of transporting such a large basin was significant. It required specialized freight to deliver the basin in one piece, ensuring it arrived at the site without damage. Stonebaths coordinated this complex process, showcasing our commitment to providing comprehensive service from design through to installation.
The customizable nature of solid surface materials allowed us to tailor the basins to the specific requirements of the site, ensuring a perfect fit and a cohesive design throughout the upgraded bathroom spaces. The ramp design adds a modern touch and enhances accessibility, catering to the needs of all visitors.
In conclusion, our collaboration with Hutchies Construction on the Burleigh Heads SLSC project highlights Stonebaths' dedication to excellence in design and functionality. The specialized ramp basins not only enhance the overall aesthetic of the bathrooms but also offer practical benefits that meet the high standards expected at such a vital community location.
